I used to attend a bilingual school and we had a lot of cultural activities related to the USA and Canada. Therefore my memories and experiences are more realted to Boston and the Green River.

I have the American side of the story, but the party is as good as anywhere. Irish community in Boston is pretty big and active. So Paloma as a suggestion you can also go to Boston and celebrate there your B-day.

Cheers to everyone nand Giselle we can have that pint any time.

Cheers,

WarenkaWarenkanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5284323556376345700.post-9632410022938743892010-03-18T10:35:55.125+01:002010-03-18T10:35:55.125+01:00Thank you Patricia, and Happy Birthday to you Palo...Thank you Patricia, and Happy Birthday to you Paloma!!

I confess that I never really have attended Saint Patrick's celebrations but somehow I always felt like... I remember the atmosphere I could perceive (or rather hear!) in the Irish pub which was almost next to my former working place in Brussels... It was incredible ;-) I guess that what prevented me to get in was the fact that is was extremely packed, but I think I should have made the step to do it and as Patricia say, get a pint of beer and say "cheers"...

Thanks for the link María! Quite interesting info, indeed.

Greetings!

GiGiselehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18149116198479030040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5284323556376345700.post-658549075176653672010-03-18T08:59:15.383+01:002010-03-18T08:59:15.383+01:00Thank you very much Lucía, Paloma and Patricia por...Thank you very much Lucía, Paloma and Patricia por your contributions!
